Our Mission
The
mission of Concerned Citizens of Seekonk (CCS) is to provide our citizens with the opportunity to learn and participate in
the identification of issues. Additionally, CCS develops plans to inform the
community and work with appointed and elected town officials. CCS works from
the premise that citizen participation in government is key to the success of our town.
Concerned Citizens of Seekonk was established in July of 2006.
Concerned Citizens of Seekonk provides a forum for residents to share ideas that will make possible a better
understanding of town and school services. This may include such items as town
charter, bylaws, budgets and warrants. Using this forum, we hope to provide
suggestions and ideas for the effective stewardship of resources in support of town departments and school services.
